After noticing a decrease in demand for the world cheapest car, nano, Tata Motors said it would offer a four-year manufacturer's warranty on Nano cars and it would be extended to all existing customers of the vehicle.
Tata reported that sales of the Nano, plunged by 85% in the November compared with a year earlier, despite other models surging ahead in Indian auto market.
Media reports of a handful of spontaneous fires, difficulty getting financing to purchase the cars and rising prices have spoil-sported the sales of the Nano.
