Best selling small cars, Citro�n and Peugeot gets facelift.


In order to retain its top spot, French carmaker Citro�n had over hauled its best-selling car, the C1. The new features of C1, includes, improved equipment levels, LED daytime running light, new bumper and to keep it under priced, the engine is the Citro�n�s first sub-100kg/km petrol engine, ensuring that the C1 is exempted from road tax and London Congestion Charge.
Now, the new C1 is powered by a 1.0-litre, three cylinder petrol engine, which emits 99 grams of CO2 for a KM and has a impressive mileage of 65.7mpg (Miles per gallon) for manual version and the Automatic Electronic Gearbox version produces 104 grams of CO2 for a KM and has give a mileage of 62.8mpg.
Following the similar strategy, Peugeot, Citro�n�s sister company has tweaked its 107 city car with the same engines of C1, and available to customers in three variants (trims), Access, Active and Allure.
