Now, French Ferrari crash is the world's expensive car crash.

Unlucky Ferrari!!!!. Multi-millionaire Christopher Cox is now on news not his any business deals, but for the World's Most Expensive Car Crash.

This accident happened when Mr. Cox with his wife Ann, was driving the classic Ferrari 250 GTO, which is probably worth more than 20 million pounds, to take part in the 50th anniversary tour of the Ferrari 250 GTO.


This expensive incident took place outside Saint-Etienne-des Gu�rets, near Blois.

Ferrari built the 250 GTO between 1962 and 1964 with the 174 mph sports car sold with a 6,000 pounds price-tag. The value of the 250 GTO has skyrocketed in recent years as there are only 39 cars in the whole world, with one green model built for Stirling Moss selling last month for a world record 22.7 million pounds.

The model involved in Friday's crash was built in April 1962 with the chassis number 3445GT.

The 250 GTO uses a 3-litre V12 engine developing 300 bhp which results in a 0-60mph time of 6.1 seconds and a top speed of 174mph.

Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, the world's only Ferrari-themed amusement park, will pump you heart to the max excitement with its adrenaline-pumping rides and an intense multi-sensory experience that makes it a must-visit for enthusiasts, fans and families.

The park has on offer amazing indoor and outdoor attractions, including Formula Rossa � the fastest roller coaster on the planet. Ferrari world was built in just three years. Located at Abu Dhabi's Yas Island, is spread across 200,000 square meters and sits underneath a rood that is made to mimic the profile of a Ferrari GT

Ferrari World's Formula Rossa, billed as the world's fastest roller coaster, which zooms at a top speed of 240 kph.

Designed to simulate the F1 driving experience, the roller coaster is designed to carry 16 passengers (on four cars). Its 2.07 km (1.29 miles) long course features a series of "sharp turns and sudden drops" which generate 1.7 Gs.

Another exciting ride inside the park is G-Force � that will shoot thrill-seekers through the red roof and 62 meters in the air before plummeting back to Earth, thus making them experience the actual G-force of a Ferrari, in a seat directly inspired by the Ferrari Enzo.

Other major attraction inside the park is Fiorano GT Challenge, which is a racing roller coaster. The roller coaster features two, 1-kilometre tracks. The cars of the coasters mimic Ferrari F430 Spiders.

Ferrari recalls Italia cars after reports of suspectable fire.

Ferrari has decided to recall all of the 458 Italia cars it made this year, following reports of a number of the luxury cars catching fire.

Ferrari said its engineers had flown around the world to investigate five reports of "thermal incidents".

As a result, it will be asking the owners of more than 1,200 of the supercars to bring them in for modification work.

The 458 Italia typically costs about �170,000 ($260,000).

There were reported incidents in California, Paris, Switzerland, China and one other unnamed location.

Ferrari said the problem had been traced to adhesive used in the wheel-arch assemblies.


In certain circumstances, the glue can begin to overheat, smoke and even catch fire, a spokesman told BBC News.

In extreme cases, the melting of the adhesive can lead the heat shield - the liner which protects the engine - to deform and move closer to the exhaust, causing the lining to catch fire.

The handful of owners who first reported the fires - and that were later confirmed to be due to this problem - will now receive a new model, Ferrari said.

For the rest, their cars will be modified to replace the adhesive with mechanical fasteners.

Ferrari launched an investigation last month after photos purporting to show 458 models on fire or burnt out emerged.

Ferrari 458 Italia Up in Flames in Paris.

Nightmare in the day for the owner of this Ferrari 458 Italia when his 570-horsepower Italian supercar started sending smoke signals from the engine compartment while he was driving on the streets of Paris. The cause of the fire remains a mystery but you can see the results in the photo gallery that was posted by a member of the Autogespot forums after the break.

When two Sports car Meet !!!

How about having two sports cars working together ? How about Ferrari look like Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera and Murcielago . No no i am not talking about any alliance or joint venture but a Japan Auto Tuning Co. which prepared a new body kit for the Ferrari F430. This new kit is under their SVR line which stands for Super Veloce Racing. Here are some pic which raise my heart beat.

It's got the front air dam, quarter panel intakes and rear wing like the hardcore Lambos, only they're applied to the outgoing mid-engined V8 Ferrari. As you can see in the attached image gallery, the Super Veloce Racing package can be applied to either Berlinetta or Spider bodystyles.

Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano

The Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano (internal code F139) is Ferrari's 2-seat Gran Turismo flagship model, replacing the 575 M Maranello in 2006 as a 2007 model. The 599 GTB debuted at the Geneva Motor Show on February 28, 2006. Styling of the 599 GTB was handled by Pininfarina, under the direction of Ferrari stylist, Frank Stephenson. It is named for its total engine displacement (5999 cc), Gran Turismo Berlinetta nature, and the Fiorano Circuit test track used by Ferrari.

Tipo F133F 6.0 L (5999 cc) V12 engine produces a maximum 620 CV (620 hp/456 kW/611 bhp), making it the most-powerful series production Ferrari road car. Its 608 N�m (448 ft�lbf) of torque will also be a high for Ferrari's GT cars. Most of the modifications to the engine were done to allow it to fit in the Fiorano's engine bay (the original Enzo version could be taller since the mid-mounted position allowed it to be so). The company claims a top speed in excess of 330 km/h (205 mph), 3.7 second sprint to 100 km/h (62 mph),and 11.0 to 200 km/h (124 mph).

Technical details:

A traditional 6-speed manual transmission as well as Ferrari's 6-speed sequential manual gearbox called 'F1 SuperFast' is offered. The e-diff active differential from the F430 is not used. However, the Manettino concept first seen in the F430 also appears in this car. Ferrari sourced the Delphi Corporation's MagneRide semi-active magneto rheological dampers. Reviewers of the car have mentioned that the MagneRide suspension gives the 599 a very comfortable ride but allows it to handle well at the same time.

The Fiorano also sees the debut of Ferrari's new traction control system, called F1-Trac. Reportedly tuned using inputs from 7-time Formula 1 World Champion Michael Schumacher, the system supposedly allows a competent driver to lap the Fiorano test track at just 1 second behind Michael's time.
